Sidus, an undiscovered planet hidden within the Milky Way, is the capital of the Imperium—a vast interstellar empire ruled by the Nin, an alien race that governs its vassal dominions with an iron fist.
Over millennia, the seeds of imperialism have blossomed into a devastating reality. Now, a terrible secret threatens billions of subjects and the celestial worlds they call home. As this truth unfolds, it forces the decorated Nin warrior **Excelsis Deo** to confront the loss of his innocence, the disillusionment of a life devoted to empire, and the fractures of a soul starved of purpose.
Burdened by the hopes, dreams, and fears of not only his own people but countless other species, Excelsis must decide whether to surrender to the role history has assigned him—or reject becoming a pawn in a far-reaching struggle for power.
Triad of Nin is ultimately a meditation on mortality, power, and the fate of civilizations. It is the story of a planet approaching its demise and an empire crumbling alongside it.
As the end draws near, the Nin face an impossible question: will they fight for survival, or surrender to a fate that may already have been written?
